2015 will see something new for our District of Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Papua New Guinea (ANZPPNG) - and you are invited to be part of it.
300 years ago in November, 1715, John Baptist de La Salle left Paris to live at Saint Yon in the city of Rouen, often quoted as his favourite place. He was 64 years old and beginning to feel the effects of his age. While he had passed on the leadership of the Brothers, De La Salle spent his last years writing his "Meditations for the Time of Retreat", teaching prayer to the Novices and working with the young men who had been sent to what was effectively a prison for serious cases.
St De La Salle - even in his latter years - is a source of inspiration for all Lasallians, no matter at what stage of life we find ourselves and no matter howclose to, or far from, the Lasallian mission we find ourselves.
As part of the Lasallian family, you are invited to continue, deepen and/or renew your connection to our Founder and to those who continue the mission by attending the
